Her ability to make people feel seen and supported is what sets her apart. “Shannon can be counted on to get the job done with a big heart and a big smile,” shared a fellow team member, Lisa Poppe. “My Pipestone career wouldn’t be what it is without her caring heart.”

Daniel: Exemplifying Caring
Gestation Lead
As Gestation Lead, Daniel Perez Martinez consistently shows that caring is more than words—it’s action. He looks out for his team, supports their growth, and brings genuine heart to both people and animals in his role as Gestation Lead.
Whether he’s training new employees, encouraging someone to take the next step, or making sure every sow is well cared for, Daniel leads with compassion. Earlier this year, he made the selfless decision to postpone his annual trip to Mexico so he could stay and support the team while the farm was without a manager. That kind of dedication speaks volumes.
