Dr. Jess Waddell

Born and raised in Nebraska, Dr. Jess Waddell cultivated a passion for veterinary medicine early on by shadowing his father, a food animal veterinarian, on farm visits. His commitment to agriculture deepened through active participation in 4-H and FFA.

Dr. Waddell earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University. He then completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Master of Science in Veterinary Preventive Medicine at Iowa State University in 2010. In May 2025, he joined Pipestone Veterinary Services as a veterinarian.

Outside of work, Dr. Waddell enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Brooke, and their son, Rush. Together, they raise Red Angus cattle and Quarter Horses, cherishing moments spent with family and friends.
