For Dr. Gustavo Pizarro, Pipestone’s Vice President of Latin America, becoming a U.S. citizen was more than completing paperwork—it was the culmination of a decade-long commitment to his life, family, and career in the United States.

Though Dr. Bryan Myers (Doc) didn’t grow up on a farm, livestock were part of his life from a young age. “Most of my relatives lived on farms,” he says, “so from about age five or six, I spent a lot of time around animals.

Samuel Morales Zarate Recognized with the David Neuberger II Core Values Award When he joined Pipestone in 2015 after moving to the United States from Mexico, the transition was anything but easy for Samuel.

Lisa joined Pipestone on December 31, 2013, stepping into a role advertised as an analyst position. In reality, her job was much more dynamic, involving production records, reporting, and data management for several sow farms. Over the years, she expanded her skills and responsibilities, becoming an indispensable asset to Pipestone’s technical services team.

After 21 years with Frito-Lay, Dean Lueck made a career shift and joined Pipestone Management as the Truck Wash Manager over six years ago.

For nearly 15 years, Kelly Kortleever has played a key role at Pipestone Veterinary Services as a Health Technician, focusing on auditing biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare at sow farms.

Mandy Matthiesen has been with Pipestone for 11 years, rising through the ranks to now manage the Information Bureau. She leads a six-person team responsible for ensuring accurate data reporting across the company’s sow farms.
