Dr. Carly Bates

Dr. Carly Bates grew up on a small hobby farm in Muscatine, Iowa, where her family raised Hereford cattle and show pigs. Her early involvement in 4-H and FFA helped build a strong foundation in agriculture and inspired a lifelong passion for the industry.

Dr. Bates earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University, graduating in May 2025. She joined Pipestone Veterinary Services as a veterinarian in June 2025.

In her free time, Dr. Bates enjoys reading, staying active through CrossFit, and spending time with friends and family. She also credits her parents and two older sisters for shaping her into the person she is today.
