Dr. Rafael was born in Cd Obregón, Sonora and studied veterinary medicine at ITSON, and began his career at Kekén as part of the Technical Veterinary Department, focusing on health and biosecurity for 45,000 sows.
He later joined PIC Mexico as a Health Assurance Veterinarian working in the multiplication system and for customers for a number of years. Having been a participant in the development of biosecurity projects in Grupo Mayocabo and NORSON, he is perfectly suited for his current role of Biosecurity Manager with Pipestone México.
Dr. Rafael lives in Hermosillo and enjoys hiking, taking walks with his dog, Alma, and going to the beach.
